Dark Quest 2 presents itself as a turn-based RPG, drawing inspiration from the iconic board game, Hero Quest. The game revolves around a party-based system that puts you in command of a group of heroes. Its isometric hand-drawn art style along with dice-based mechanics adds to the immersive experience.
- Single-Player Campaign: Engage in a story-driven campaign that leads you through a series of adventures on your monumental journey to vanquish the malevolent sorcerer.
- Turn Based Mechanics: Strategize wisely, as each hero within your party can take only one action per turn. Succumb to poor tactics, and your fate may be sealed in the sorcerer's unyielding clutches.
- Skull of Fate: When all hope fades in the shadowed depths of the castle, your final resort will be to roll the Skull of Fate and confront your destiny.
- Assemble a Party: Command a diverse group of heroes, each endowed with distinctive traits and abilities. Capitalize on their individual strengths and foster teamwork to conquer the minions of the sorcerer.
- Enter a world of fantasy and adventure: Traverse through labyrinthine passages, uncover hidden thresholds, and combat bloodthirsty orcs in your pursuit.
- Village: Seek refuge with the revered masters to assimilate new skills, forge mighty weapons, and brew elixirs that enhance your heroes' prowess.
